Some links to software vendors are affiliate links. If you click one and later buy, we may earn a commission. The disclosure line at the top of each review tells you when a page contains them. Links are marked rel="sponsored".
Featured (sponsored) slots
Vendors can pay for a Featured slot on a category page or in our newsletter. Every featured slot is labeled Sponsored · Not part of our ranking, styled differently from editorial content, and sits outside the ranked list.
Pay-per-click listings
On some pages vendors may pay per click on a "Visit website" button. Paying for clicks does not change inclusion, order, score or what we write. Tools without any commercial relationship appear in our lists, and paying vendors are left out when they don't score high enough.
Sponsored content
Occasionally we publish content paid for by a vendor, such as a webinar recap or a partner guide. It is labeled Sponsored at the top and is never presented as a review.

How reviewers are paid
Writers and reviewers are paid for their time and expertise. Their pay is never tied to clicks, conversions or which tools they recommend.
